XS News Review 2026
XS News is a Dutch Usenet provider with an attractive annual unlimited plan, 100 connections and a network path that is useful for users seeking more diversity than the large Omicron-owned retail brands.

What stands out
Price is a major strength. The current annual Unlimited plan is inexpensive, and XS News also sells non-expiring block accounts. It is therefore suitable both as a low-cost primary option and as a secondary server.
Limitations
Its advertised retention is shorter than Newshosting or Eweka, so very old articles may be less consistently available.
Bottom line
Choose XS News when you value low cost, high connection limits and a different network path for backup use.
